Website to app
The general service and decisions to get started.
Showing the catalogue is only part of the work: customers need to find a product, select a variation and complete the intended shopping journey.
We start with categories, search, product details, images, variations and availability rules. Prices and stock should come from the agreed source, avoiding independent copies that may drift from the shop.
We can assess reusing mobile pages or an API-connected interface. A native catalogue also needs error handling, loading states and updates.
We assess the journey from product to cart, discount codes, delivery, tax and checkout. Payment gateways, additional authentication and returning to the app after an external step need specific testing.
Physical goods, digital content and subscriptions may need different store policy assessments. The project does not promise universal gateway compatibility or automatic approval.
Registration, login, password recovery and order history need testing in the app context. Membership, multilingual, personalised pricing or customised checkout plugins can change shop behaviour.
We need a list of relevant plugins and realistic purchase scenarios. Administrative credentials and privileged API keys must not be embedded in the distributed app.
Assessment defines priority journeys and necessary changes. Development and testing cover orders and payments in an agreed test environment, without unauthorised real transactions. Store materials and submission are then prepared within the quoted scope.
Checkout, gateway or plugin changes may need retesting. Notifications, synchronisation and maintenance are defined for the project; they are not automatically included forever.

Content, private areas, themes and plugins.
Managed platforms, custom systems and B2B.
Inclusions, maintenance and external costs.
HACCP portal and document capture with OCR.
This is a possible objective to assess for the project: catalogue and orders can remain in the existing system, with a defined way for the app to use them.
We need to test the specific gateway and journey, including external steps and returning to the app.
Notifications need events, permissions and infrastructure. Features and related costs are defined in the quote.
